While based in Dongguan, I coordinated footwear development for an international brand, helping turn its drawings into shoes that met quality and production requirements. Three boots from a single season’s catalog illustrate the process, from initial drawings to production approval.本案整理我外派至東莞期間參與國際品牌鞋類開發的經驗。核心任務是把海外品牌的設計圖稿轉化為符合品質與量產要求的鞋款。以下以同一季型錄中的三款靴子為例，說明完整的開發歷程。

Coordinated with the brand, suppliers, and factory on sampling, fit trials, quotations, price negotiations, and delivery schedules.協調品牌、供應商與工廠，負責打樣試穿、報價議價與交期管理。

Footwear development across borders跨國鞋類開發

Once the brand supplied its sketches, I coordinated material suppliers, the sample room, and the production factory in Vietnam, arranging sampling, fit trials, and revisions. Specifications and physical samples gave everyone a common reference across countries and time zones.品牌方交來設計草圖後，我負責協調材料供應商、樣品室與越南生產工廠，安排打樣、試穿與後續修改。規格與樣品是各方確認設計的依據，也讓跨國、跨時區的溝通有具體的對照。

Alongside development, I handled quotations, price negotiations, and delivery schedules. Material color differences or failed physical tests meant working with suppliers and the factory to resolve the issue and track its effect on delivery.除了開發執行，我也處理報價議價與交期。物料色差、物理性測試未達標等狀況，都需要回到供應商與工廠之間協調，並追蹤對後續交付的影響。

From design drawing to order從設計到生產

Tracking progress also meant checking design requirements against what the factory could make. When technical issues or timing became a problem, I coordinated with the brand and manufacturing teams to adjust the work that followed.追蹤進度時，我同時要確認設計要求與工廠的製造能力。遇到技術或交期瓶頸，就需要協調品牌與製造端，調整後續工作安排。

Management is part of the craft管理也是工藝的一環

A shoe passes through many operations and sample revisions before production. Managing that process requires an understanding of materials and manufacturing to judge how each small decision will affect the finished product.一雙鞋要經過多道工序與多次樣品修改，才能走到量產。管理工作也因此需要理解材料與製程，才能判斷每次微決策會如何影響成品。

A color mismatch or a failed test can change an agreed schedule. I had to respond to conditions on the ground and coordinate the next steps, balancing the brand’s expectations for appearance, quality, and delivery through successive sample reviews.物料色差或測試結果不符要求時，排好的時程就必須重新檢視。我需要依現場狀況協調後續步驟，讓品牌期待的外觀、品質與交期在一次次樣品確認中取得平衡。
